A POEM INSPIRED BY A NEW FRIEND

INSPIRATION

It manifests itself in the most curious situations

Unexpected, unexplained, yet pleasing

A perfect form, creation flawless of error
Beauty, radiates and flows

A simple gesture word or sentiment
a pose, a glance, an image frozen in time

This Perfection I speak of is more than dedicated
Unspeakable effort, Indescribable Will

I watch in awe as this work unfolds
Yet Perfection knows not itself

Ironic that Inspiration can be found
In the merest of places when

If you seek, you never find it.
For Inspiration Manifests itself in the most curious situations
